Building on the industry standard warrantee of one year for workmanship, Sea Force IX goes above and beyond with key components. Please consider our commitment to you as we stand behind our product like no other.

Sea Force IX is confident enough to offer a seven year hull warrantee on our sport yachts. This confidence is based on our superior construction techniques and processes, high quality materials, zero lamination crew turnover, and over twenty, trouble free years of experience building large, high performance power yachts.

Our glazing system is so iron clad that the glass installations come with a 5 year “No Leak” guarantee. We start with chemically hardened, laminated safety glass (several times stronger that tempered glass and will not shatter into small pieces like tempered glass). Each piece is formed at the manufacturing facility to fit the molded receiver geometry using a 3D modeling process. The glass is set in structural adhesive which is further protected from direct UV rays by a frit (black out) applied by the glass manufacturer.

INDUSTRY PARTNERS MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

Sea Force IX has a solid relationship with MTU and their distributer Florida Detroit Diesel. The basic MTU warrantee is for two years with the option to purchase an extended warrantee. The extended warrantee application process requires a rigid testing program to assure the installation meets specific guidelines. Sea Force IX is proud to state that our engine installations have always passed this rigid test.

The Boero painting system we use comes with a manufacturer’s guarantee of four years on the exterior paint. This is founded upon their superior paint products applied in strict compliance to their guidelines under the watch of their factory representation.

Our custom electrical distribution components are made by a very respected marine electrical contractor who has been in the business over 60 years. All the components used are top shelf with Marine UL approval.

All of our equipment suppliers are selected for quality of product, reputation in the marine environment and world-wide service. We boast about our yachts ability to travel several thousand miles at 10 knots and so it stands to reason that we require a service network wherever they go.

In conclusion, Sea Force is dedicated to our customer’s trouble- free maritime pleasures and partner with our owners beyond the written commitments. Ask any of your owners who can collaborate our claims of total commitment to them. We are available every hour of every day to set the service wheel in motion. Price in not the only advantage to deal factory direct, service directly from the factory is as quick as it gets.

With the Sea Force IX fleet of sport yachts, performance AND long range are NOT mutually exclusive terms.

Our performance was predicted in the towing tank and proven on the open waters of the world. Performance that is breathtaking and unusually quick. Our 91.5 Skybridge Sport Yacht “Flamingo Daze” accelerated from idle to full rpm in just over 30 seconds.

Want long range? Thanks to the generous 5,000 gallons of fuel storage on board, our 94.5 has a projected 10k range approaching 4,000 nautical miles. That puts any port of call on the planet on your itinerary.

In the middle of these impressive ends to our speed spectrum is the untouchable cruise economy. No other vessels of our size and class can beat the just over five gallons/km for the 81.5’s 28k cruise or the 91.5’s 27k cruise burning just under six gals/km. Want even better economy, pull back to 20 knots and enjoy the effortless, quiet and safe ride.

The vessels of the Sea Force IX fleet are the perfect blend of performance sport fishing and 5 star luxury accommodations.

It starts with the proprietary hull form proven the world over to be a dynamic and economical performer that raises fish. Then there is the attention to numerous details. Like flush keel-mounted transducers, proprietary performance propeller pockets, single leg NACA section struts, wide blade propellers, deep wedge rudders, strake terminations, and a smooth, sprayed bottom paint system. This killer combination provides clean water at the strategic wake sequences necessary to be and ultra-competitive sport fishing machine.

Add to this formidable start key personnel possessing vast overall sea experience including years of successful, highly competitive tournament experience and the diverse talents of well-traveled professional captains on our team. The final ingredient is the experienced angler owner – captain – mate combo working with the Sea Force IX professionals to customize the cockpit to meet the individual’s needs.

We are the top shelf of sport fishing vessels.

Sea Force IX’s management, engineering and key lamination supervisory staff have been together for two decades. We believe this is a vital element to our unblemished record of large, cored fiberglass sportfishing vessels running the oceans of the world.

Our “Monolithic” construction methodology is unique to the industry and is founded on three pillars. First is the human experience element already noted. The other two are premium materials and a specific method of construction based on our sound engineering, industry support and a rigid quality control system.

Our fiberglass parts are made from 5axis-milled molds that are extremely accurate. We start the hull with high-temp gel coat specially formulated for us. This is backed up with a fully engineered laminate of blended vinylester resin, non-woven glass fabrics and closed cell structural foam core. The vinylester resin has amazing physical characteristics, high temperature tolerance and inhibits the molecular intrusion of water. The non-woven glass is all US manufactured and is hand laid for a consistent glass to resin ratio. The core is wet-bagged under vacuum with each piece sounded after cure for total adhesion. Critical areas like thru hulls, struts, etc. are not cored but are solid glass built up with additional glass layers. The keel is also solid glass with all layers being overlapped and then filled with layers of solid oak encapsulated with filled resin and glassed over.

After the primary hull lamination is complete and signed off by our quality program, the full length fore and aft stringer system is installed and glassed over stem to stern. These stringers vary in height and thickness and are engineered to handle the speeds and stresses of the high horsepower propulsion systems we install. The athwartship stringer system installation follows and is completely glassed, followed by the four main structural composite bulkheads and the marine ply crash bulkhead.

Once out, the hull structure is weighed and baked. The baking process is another of our “unique to the industry” procedures. This process, made possible by our material selection, assures the laminate is completely cured and ready for production and the painting process. All the above procedures apply to all the large fiberglass parts (ie: superstructure, bridge, etc.) which is why we confidently let our customers choose any color they want for their Sea Force IX.

The ‘Monolithic” structural plan continues with the composite floors and soles bonded to the stringer grid and glassed to the hull. The forward accommodation bulkheads are glassed to the hull sides, composite floor and the deck. The hull to deck perimeter, cabin to bridge connection, leisure deck and any other assembled components are completely glassed together. The interior cabinetry that contacts the hull is glassed as well. It must be noted here that ALL secondary structural glassing is done with epoxy resin. The end result is the most comprehensive structural envelope available.

This “Monolithic” methodology allows us to save weight without sacrificing structure, increases performance and provides the industry’s best gallons/mile economy for a comparable vessel.

The Sea Force IX Management and Design team have long been proponents of tank testing as the best method for predicting the performance of their “Full Lifting” bottom geometry that is the foundation for the Force IX line of Performance Sport Fishing Yachts. Unlike the “Melting Pot” computer performance prediction programs that tend to “dull the data”, we prefer to take full advantage of our dynamic hull design by testing it on it’s own merits, prudently interpreting the information and properly applying it to achieve optimum performance.

Now it seems a lot of the competition have followed suit by advertising they have tank tested their hull designs. The real issue is what is done with the data the towing tank provides and that is where Sea Force IX takes yacht design and construction to the next level.

We combine the bottom geometry with our “Monolithic” construction methods and rigid weight-monitoring program under a comprehensive quality control umbrella. All the individual components are weighed prior to installation with locations recorded and tracked to assure the “all critical weight balance” optimized by the tank test data is maintained. This unique “performance tuning” process can only be performed by a company dedicated to the demanding rigors it requires. We are so dedicated and the result is a ride that must be experienced. We call it the “Ultimate Ride”.

The Sea Force IX hull form utilizes an aggressive hull bottom geometry that generates lift over 90% of running surface at low angles of attack. This means the vessel rises to a plane (no hump) and runs relatively flat in a stealth-like fashion. The positive pressure allows the vessel to handle the high horsepower propulsion insuring a stable, comfortable and safe ride with a difference you can feel. The deadrise at the bow is sharp to pierce the water and fairs to a proper transom deadrise. The transom deadrise is also favorable in a following sea and has plenty of “clean water” behind the boat. These factors plus the running strakes are the foundation for the “all weather”, dry performance. The modest keel, combined with the dynamic lift provides fingertip steering, tracking, and sea keeping at all headings into various sea states to maintain our signature smooth running attitude.

Note: The Sea Force IX hull bottom is NOT a “warped” plane!

Experience is a big component to building serious blue water performance power yachts. At Sea Force IX, Inc., our core group has been together as a unit for over twenty years collaborating on over fifty large performance power yachts. But that is the corporate part of our story.

It started with individual humble beginnings. Craftsmen learning their trade from the bottom up. Baiting long lines for codfish, spending weeks kneeling on the loft floor, working in far parts of the world with the military and on assembly lines. Eventually working up to a point of sophistication where they can collaborate at a level our product and customers demand.

Our management team has over twenty years in yachts construction and over fifty years combined “on the water” experience as successful bill fishermen, east coast charter captains fishing their own vessels and commercial fishing.

Our engineering department has forty years designing all types of yachts with the last twenty-five devoted to large sport fishing and sport yachts.

Each of the department foremen has at least twenty years building our type of powerboat with aerospace and military experience prior to that.

And the ever-critical lamination process is anchored around a group with over thirty years of experience building large cored fiberglass vessels with zero structural problems.

View and ride one of our masterpieces and you will tangibly see what this uniquely experienced group of dedicated people who passionately love what do can mean to you and your investment.
